About

Annie Huang is a first-generation Asian American producer who grew up in Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong before immigrating to the U.S. at age 11, where she learned English as her 4th language with the help of subtitled films. She has over 8 years of experience across creative development, film production, and marketing strategy at Warner Bros, Universal Pictures, Searchlight Pictures, and Sony Pictures.
Annie’s produced works have screened at Oscar-qualifying festivals including the Rhode Island International Film Festival, Hawai’i International Film Festival, HollyShorts, and Aspen Film. She has produced films supported by Film Independent, CAPE, Rideback RISE, Netflix, and the Latino Film Institute. She recently wrapped production on her first feature film, Better Life, a father-daughter dark comedy. She is currently developing a new film and TV slate with Ally Maki’s production banner, AAGC Originals. Her upcoming independent projects include a coming-of-age comedy slated for production in summer 2026 and an international drama set in Bretagne, France.
Annie is a member of the inaugural class of the Academy of Motion Pictures GOLD program, a Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholar, a Women In Film Independent Producing Fellow, a Dear Producer Fellow, a Soho House Creative Futures Fellow, and an APIA NBCUniversal Award recipient.
